At Oaks Ministries, our mission is straightforward yet profound: to empower the students of downtown Augusta to become Christ-centered leaders who transform their communities with the hope of the Gospel. We believe that when young people are rooted in faith and equipped with the right tools, they can make a significant impact on their surroundings.
Our Vision: Oaks of Righteousness
Our vision is inspired by Isaiah 61:3-5, which speaks of “Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord.” We envision students who not only excel in their personal and spiritual lives but also use their God-given gifts to bring about transformation in the city of Augusta. This means becoming leaders within their communities, churches, organizations, and businesses.
Building Up and Repairing
The scripture from Isaiah also talks about building up ancient ruins and repairing ruined cities. This is a metaphorical way of saying that we aim to mend what has been broken in our communities and restore what has been lost over generations. Through our various programs, we provide the youth with the resources they need to be agents of change, to rebuild and uplift their communities in meaningful ways.
