Vision: Our vision is founded on Isaiah 61:3-5, “That they may be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified. They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.” We envision students who are Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord, who use their God-given gifts to transform the city of Augusta by becoming leaders within their communities, Oaks Ministries, churches, organizations, and businesses.

College for Kids and Urban Leadership Project Dates

  • CFK and ULP will take place at Walton Oaks, Walton Green, and The Depot
  • June 2nd-27th – Monday-Friday, 8:00 am -2:00 pm (early release at 1:00 pm on Fridays)
  • No camp on June 19th in honor of Juneteenth
  • Oaks Summer Camp Celebration: June 27th, 6:00 pm

Job Description/Expectations

  • Submit to a Background Check
  • Have experienced in cooking food for groups
  • Create summer camp menu in coordination with Summer Camp Coordinators
  • Pickup food from Grocery Stores (will be provided an Oaks Business Card)
  • Prep and Cook Breakfast and Lunch at Walton Green Adventure Center
  • Clean Kitchen after cooking
  • Transport Food to summer camp locations
  • Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 Lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:30
